Lil' Sprouts Volunteering

If you enjoy sharing your love of nature in a playful, interactive setting, we’d love to have your help! We’re looking for volunteers interested in helping facilitate activities and crafts for our Lil’ Sprouts program, a fun, nature-based series designed for young children and their caregivers.

Lil' Sprouts runs twice a month on the second and fourth Monday. Each session includes hands-on crafts and simple nature-focused activities that spark curiosity and connection with the outdoors. The program runs from 10-11:30am. Volunteers are asked to arrive at 9:30 to help with setup and stay afterward to help clean up.

As a facilitator, you'll arrive half an hour early to help set up craft materials and supplies, join CGC staff in guiding the activities, work hands-on with children as they explore and create, and stick around after the program to help clean up. We try to be outdoors as much as possible, so dress for the weather!
