Treeforestation Workday (Walnut) - October 28

This workday is our annual tree planting event. We'll be planting native trees grown by the students of Walnut Hills High School’s Bio-Eco club. As these trees grow, they will support local fauna and fill the gaps in the canopy created by the loss of the ash trees. A solid canopy will help reduce invasive pressures throughout the woods.

There are a ton of plants to get into the ground during this workday, and the soil will likely be tough. Please come prepared by wearing closed toed shoes and long pants. Please also bring a reusable water bottle and gloves if you have them. We will provide extras if needed.

There is free parking along Sulsar Ave. We'll meet by the Walnut Woods of Evanston kiosk and the benches, located at near the trailhead.
