It's Boxwood Destruction Day!
Boxwoods, once prized for their ornamental structures, have all taken a hit this season. (Interested as to why? Check out our post on the topic.) In response, the CGC has decided to remove our boxwoods in favor of heartier native plants. During this workday, we'll be removing the boxwoods surrounding our herb garden to create more planting space for native plants that are adapted to survive here. Come help us get the ball rolling!
Please wear closed toed shoes and bring a reusable water bottle. We'll meet by the Green Learning Station (the building with solar panels located in our parking lot).
