This is a waitlist for the Bonsai Beginner's Course
Get started in the relaxing and fulfilling art of bonsai in this hands-on beginners’ workshop – tree included.
Our beginner’s class is a one-day, two-part event that offers a learning experience designed to equip you with a basic understanding of the art of bonsai, a short history, a bit of philosophy, followed by a demonstration and basic information on choosing plants, tools, and products. Then after a lunch break, you will be given a tree, pot, wire, and soil so you can begin creating your own bonsai under the guidance of an experienced, talented, and patient instructor. At the end of the class, you will not only go home with a bonsai that you created on your own, but more importantly, you will have enough information and “hands-on” experience to serve as a solid foundation for learning more about the art.
These classes are fun, relaxing, and a great way to meet other people who share an interest in this fascinating ancient art.
There will be a 1-hour break at 11:30 for lunch. Bring your own lunch.
All students will be invited to attend our regular monthly meetings in 2022 as well as offering the opportunity to join our club members for continuing their knowledge in the art of bonsai and other fellowship opportunities.
