Did you know the CGC has a long-running book club where friends gather to discuss nature-themed novels? It’s one of our best kept secrets…but now the secret is out!
Starting in 2027, we’re opening the CGC Book Club up to our community and inviting you to come and read with us. We'll meet on Wednesdays, 1/20, 3/24, 7/21, and 10/20, from 12-1:30pm at the Civic Garden Center.
January's book is The Comfort of Crows: A Backyard Year by Margaret Renkl. This 52-chapter literary devotional follows the creatures and plants in the author’s backyard over the course of one year.
Register to reserve your spot, read the book, then join us on January 20! We’ll have discussion questions prepared to get the conversation flowing. All you need to bring is yourself (and a baked good to share, if you'd like).
