Help a Garden Coordinator in need!
Mary, who runs the Holloway Hope Community Garden, is falling behind on garden maintenance due to an injury and asked if our volunteers might be willing to help out. It’s a smaller, quaint garden that uses a lot of repurposed materials. Workday tasks will include activities such as weeding, mowing, watering, pruning, and harvesting.
Mary is asking for help on the following Saturdays:
- Saturday, July 18, 9am-12pm
- Saturday, August 8, 9am-12pm
- Saturday, August 22, 9am-12pm
No experience needed, and you don't need to attend them all to help out!
Closed-toed shoes and long pants are recommended. Please bring a refillable water bottle, bug spray and/or sunscreen, gardening gloves, and appropriate clothing for the weather. All other tools and gardening materials will be provided.
